सूचना और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय ने बुधवार को 118 और मोबाइल applications पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया, जिसमें मोबाइल गेम प्लेयरन्यूजड Battlegrounds (PUBG) के लिए App भी शामिल है।
सेंट्रे का कदम वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा (एलएसी) पर भारत और चीन के बीच तनाव की पृष्ठभूमि में आता है। चीन की पीपुल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी (पीएलए) ने अब चार महीने से भारत के साथ लद्दाख में अपनी सीमा को स्थानांतरित करने की कोशिश की है।
यह प्रतिबंध का तीसरा दौर था। 29 जून को, भारत ने सीमा पर तनाव के बीच 59 चीनी Apps पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया। TikTok, UC Browser, Xender, SHAREit, WeChat और Weibo जून में प्रतिबंधित किए गए उल्लेखनीय App में से एक थे।
ब्लॉकों का दूसरा दौर 23 जुलाई को आया, जब मिनिस्ट्री ने प्रतिबंध के बावजूद काम कर रहे मिरर एपिलेशन को हटा दिया।
